My Research

The last two days we had been researching. Hear is some research I done. We have freedom of Religion, freedom of Assembly, to Keep and Bear Arms, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and protection for those accused of crimes. http://bensguide.gpo.gov/3-5/citizenship/index.html The most important right citizens have is the right to vote. By voting, the people have a voice in the government. The people decide who will represent them in the government. Before. voting in an election, each citizen should be well informed about the issues and candidates.The government may call upon citizens to serve on a jury. The members of the jury need to decide the case in as fair a way as they can.Every person is expected to obey the laws of the community, state and country in which he or she lives. All Americans are expected to respect the rights of others. All persons living in the U.S. are expected to pay the income taxes and other taxes honestly and on time.Appear before a judge in court. The judge listens to the person’s reasons for wanting to become a U.S. citizen, and then decides if the person will be allowed to become a citizen. However, living in the United States doesn't automatically make one an American citizen. Citizens of the U.S. have the opportunity and the responsibility to participate in their government. This process of self-government insures that power will always remain where it belongs - with the people.

I am writing on John F Kennedy. John F Kenndy was the youngest president to be elected. John F. Kennedy was born on 5-29-17 in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Number of Terms Elected: 1 term; Was assassinated while in office.

John F Kenndy was the thirty-fifth presindent. He had a family and thier names where Joseph and Rose Kennedy. He served in World War II and worked for a brief time as a reporter before becoming a Democratic Congressman from Boston in 1947. He married Jacqueline Bouvier, had three children, and wrote a Pulitzer Prize winning book called Profiles in Courage. John F Kennedy beat Richard Nixon to become the youngest U.S. president ever elected. On November 22, 1963 John F. Kennedy's life was tragically cut short by an assassin's bullet, while riding in a Presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas.John F. Kennedy NHS preserves the birthplace of America’s 35th president. In 1967, the president’s mother returned here, where Kennedy spent his boyhood, and restored the house to her recollection of its 1917 appearance. Each year, thousands of visitors join NPS staff to share Mrs. Kennedy’s memories in a tour of the house and neighborhood that, in her words, hold "many happy memories."On Sunday, November 22, the National Park Service opened the site for the day in remembrance of President Kennedy on the 46th anniversary of his 1963 assassination. The site was open from 10 am until 3 pm with no admission charged. In addition, National Park Service staff held a brief memorial ceremony outside the house at 12:00 noon that day. The site is now closed for the season and will reopen in the spring.

Animations and Sounds

In the past few weeks we have been adding sounds and animations. I didn't get time to add sounds but I am finished with adding animations. I need help in how to click on the play button and it will go to the first level. I also need to make the next level button work. I think that it will be a little bit easy to add sounds. I need people talking and a jeopardy playing when answering a question. I need a lot of work to do on flash because it is not easy.

Animal Cruelty

I think that we need to stop animal cruelty. Their are a lot of animals in the animal shelter that had been abused by people that don't even want them ,and they also take them some where to drop them of. These animals are being returned to already overcrowed shelters and the cruel trueth is that many pets will be dumped, abandoned and turned out to live on the streets. Other will suffer from hunger, neglect, and abouse. Please stop this brutal cycle. Acts of violence or neglect perpetrated against animals are considered animal cruelty. Some examples include overt abuse, dog fighting and cock fighting, and companion animals being neglected or denied basic necessities of care, such as food, water or shelter. Animal welfare organizations across the country work daily to educate people about how to care for their companion animals and how they can prevent animal cruelty.

Adding Navigation

I have been working hard on flash now I am going to Add navigation's to my flash files. I am almost finished with flash I only need to finish level four ,and upload my flash that I am finished so I will not get in trouble. I had not been working hard yesterday because I had to help some people with their flash. Some people needs a lot of help with their flash because they keep on getting on my nerves ,because they don't pay attention to Mrs. Barker when she is explaining something. I think that it is hard but I don't want to drop out of this class like some people wants to ,because I think that it is fun. I had learned a bunch of stuff in flash like drawing, adding actions to my flash. The easiest thing that I thought that was easy was the drawings and the hardest thing was adding the actions to make you click on buttons to go on to the next scene. I had managed to add actions to my scenes but it was hard some of my stuff I had to stay for after school to get help from Mrs.Barker. I had learned a lot of stuff about my game from Abby Taylor, Rachael, and David they have told us a lot of interesting stuff about our game and they gave us a web site that we can go on and get some ideals. I till have a little more questions about our game that I don't know. I am almost finished with adding navigation's.

Drawing in flash

I have almost finished my flash drawings I only need three more drawings to finish. I have finished tracing a courthouse it was easy and it looks good a little bit I need to fix it up so it would look better. I need to upload my flash drawings that I had finished on to my project page so my grade won't go down.If my grade goes down I can't play sports so I'm getting ready to go ,and put my drawings on my wiki and when I get down I am going to work on my flash.

How my game is going

My game is going well. Me and my partner have done some research some interesting thing for our game idea. We have finished the title scene, and the level scene on flash. We had finished our paper photo type on video ,we have also finished our team page questions on the paper photo type. I have been working on our game on flash, I had also been working on our team page. I think that we can do our paper photo type on flash.

Abby Taylor's vist

If we could get Abby Taylor to help us on our game we could probably do well on it. We could probably win and I could win a free laptop, or if I place second I could win a free flip camera, if anybody participate they can get a gift to. I would think that we would need some help or ideals on our game so we could win first place. I think that we could beat those high schools and those middle schools. Abby, Rachael, and David had gave us some good information on civics and about our games that we talked about for two periods. I think we would enter the contest if Roger Bolen would let us be in the contest because I really want a free laptop or a flip camera. I think every body in my class could win a prize if they tried hard enough. I really do think that I could do this and keep my A in here so I can play basketball. My Game Topic

My game topic is about The Courthouse it is based on Rights an Responsibilities. Do we have rights to wear what ever we want to wear in school if it don't hurt other peoples feelings. We think that it is a part of civics that we think that we can beat those High Schools and other Middle Schools.

I think that they will learn a lot of stuff about our game because if they have to go to court they will know what to do if they go to court so they can try to fight their way out of going to jail.

Our game is on civics because it is The Courthouse. It teaches about civics because it is a little bit like the Branches of Government. I think that we are doing a hard topic on civics because it probably won't work but, we think if we try hard of nough we can get through it.

My Game Idea

Our team name is Halo Machines. My partners name is Roger Bolen and we are making our game on the Court House. The characters are the judge, the jury, and the plaintiff. We are going to draw our game design when we get done with our blog. Our topic name is Rights in Responibilities I think that it will be hard to make but I think we can do it. You will have to answer the questions that we ask you. You will have to try to when the case by given your word that what you think that happened. If you lose the case you will go to jail. So if I was you I would try to when the case so you won't have to stay in jail.

How I'm doing

We have been learning how to use flash and how to make objects move and come back. So far I'm doing well it has been helping me type faster and, Ireally do like this class I can't wait next year to see if I'm in this class again. I have been learning a lot of stuff about computers that I have never knew before. So next year I will know more stuff than I knew this year I will help people that needs help to add any thing. At the begging of the year I fought it would be harder than I expect but so far it isz easy becaue, I got an A. I am having a lot of fun in this class, Mrs.Barker has showed me knew stuff that I have never knew about computers.

Is it safe or not safe to use Internet

Do rigths come with responsibilities?

We have rights and resonsibilities like if the school had to make rights girls would have to were pants,skirts,or shorts that come to their nees. Boys should where pants that are not baggy,and shorts that are not baggy if their clothes are baggy they should wear a bealt. If they wear baggy pants they should go to the office and call home and ask for a bealt.

What I want to learn about Globaloria

Hello, I'm Stephen Iam in Mrs.Barker 7th grade Globaloria class. I want to learn how to make games. I like to play on computer and I like to learn lot's of stuff in this class. I think it will be fun and interesting I heard that it is hard in fun. I think it will be hard but I will try my best to get it done so I can learn how to make stuff ,and show other people if they need help next year.
